Christmas Card and Gift in One

Hello and thank you for visiting me today, I hope you are doing ok in this very difficult time. Christmas is certainly going to be very different this year, we are now in High  Tier 2. I wish people would just follow the simple rules, or those of us who are vulnerable will never be able to leave our homes.

In the circumstances I wanted to make extra special cards this year to send to family and friends, so I have included a wooden bauble which can be detached from the card and hung up elsewhere if they desired. All the details about how I made it are on the Calico Craft Parts Blog

Please stay safe xx

Valentine Animals Printers Tray

I am so happy to share my first project as a member of the very talented Calico Craft Parts Design Team. I love animals so I couldn’t wait to paint these lovely mini sized animals. This is the first printer tray I have made, it was really easy and fun to put together. The animals left their muddy paw, and hoof prints  all around the edges! (Hero Art stamps)

All of the details about how I made the Valentine Tray are on the Calico Craft Parts Blog

Wishing you a very happy Valentine’s Day, thank you so much for visiting xx

I would like to enter my Valentine Animals Printer Tray into the following challenges.

Lavender Fields

This Majestic Deer stands proudly in his field of Lavender. He also loves to sleep in the Lavender field too as it soothes him to sleep.

I created  the background with water colours, and stamped the Lavender with two colours of Adirondack inks. I have heard a lot of good things about the new Distress Oxides so I am thinking about trying them out! I fussy cut some of the Lavender flowers and adhered them with foam pads to give some depth to the picture.

I hope you are all enjoying the summertime and all of the glorious flowers in bloom at this lovely time of year.

Thank you for stopping by xx

I would like to share this with the following challenges.

Crafty Individuals Face Value

I don't think I have ever made a Christmas card in July before!

Crafty Individuals have a Challenge this month with the theme of "Face Value". So I used their lovely deer stamp on my card, and created a snowy landscape.

I have a feeling this deer maybe Prancer!

Thank you so much for looking.

It's my Birthday on the 1st of August, and to celebrate I am giving away a Clarity Stamp Stencil. Also included will be a booklet of ideas on how to use it. Which is  written by Barbara Gray.
I am not giving any clues as to which stencil it is, but if you would like a chance to win it, just pop back on August 1st!

Lovely large pink case, and how do you store your clear stamps?

I found this gorgeous large pencil case, and my stencils fit in it perfectly. I especially love the deer on it and of course it's pink, my favourite colour!

Now if only storing all my clear stamps was as easy. I have the made for purpose stamp holders, you know the TIm Holtz one and also a papermania one. But they don't seem to be working out for me. You have to reach into the plastic pockets and pull out the acetate which the stamps are stored on and then many of them slip off, or get caught. I always seem to be losing a stamp, and of course this induces great panic when I lose one of my Clarity stamps!

How do you store your clear stamps? I would love to know...
